What a comeback–we missed you! You hit a homerun with this podcast and I couldn’t agree more with all the points you made. Phil

I hope that the gun culture we share listens to the your words of evangelizing the center and left. We need them. We don’t need the old same politics of division along ’social conservative’ lines. Gun rights are many things to many people, but what We Must Stress is they are no different than our other Constitutional rights such as freedom of speech or religion.
We also need to do this evangelizing without judgments or rancor. Gun rights are The Issue and every vote counts. Folks must leave their other politics at home. This is NOT about ANY other issue regardless of how fervent an individual may feel about abortion, Iraq, corporate greed, or tree hugging.
In short, we need to change the perception of gun nut, from crazy right wing nut job, to an ardent support of constitutional rights, which includes Our Respect for everyone’s rights, left wing moonbats and right wing nut jobs alike.
